„The Scenarios of the Return to Syria, Live Testimonies“
Four Syrian refugees living in Berlin will tell their personal stories and the consequences of returning to Syria.
- Fadwa Mahmoud, a political activist and member of the Families for Freedom Campaign
- Maryam Hallak: Teacher and chief of the Caesar Association
- Ahmed Altarris: Lawyer and Legal Advisor
- Mohamed Malak: Writer and opposition political activist, editor of Saiedet Souria Magazine
Moderator: Dr. Leila Atrache and journalist Yahya Alaous
The session is preceded by a brief review of the security and life conditions in Syria before and after the popular uprising that started in 2011.
Simultaneous translation from Arabic into German and vice versa is available, followed by an open dialogue session.
