Celebrating Sugar Festival and more in June

Arabic poetry, board games on the veranda, philosophical discussions, water leaking through the roof and Arabic rap – we’ve already experienced so much in the first half of June.

Hopefully the next two weeks in Ulme35 will be just as lively (but please without any further leaks in the roof).

Our salon and wonderful veranda are open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 3pm onwards, so do come by for a coffee!

A highlight this month will be the Sugar Festival Eid al-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan. We hope that neighbours and refugees will come and celebrate this festival together in our park on Friday 30th June. The children are already eagerly preparing decorations and we would very much appreciate helping hands to distribute invitations in advance as well as support on the day. Who can bring a cake or a picnic blanket? If you can help in any of these ways please send a mail to: info@interkulturanstalten.de.
