Dear new and old Berliners,
On May 19, 2018, the choir project "PUBLIC DOMAIN" will take place at the Philharmonie.
This is an exciting, musical experiment: 1000 people from all social and cultural backgrounds in Germany’s capital talk, sing, whisper and shout together in the Philharmonie – performing the European premiere of David Lang's choral work the public domain!
1000 Berliners and New Berliners are invited and we want you to join us! You do not need any previous knowledge in singing!
To prepare for the project, choirs are established in various districts - one of them in Charlottenburg-Westend in Ulme 35, Ulmenallee 35, 14050 Berlin.
From 20.02.2018 to 08.05.2018, we rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 19.-21.00. From 14.05. the rehearsals are in the Philharmonie, the concert will take place on 19.5.2018.
We would like to invite you to participate! The registration period runs until 18.02.2018. The minimum age for participation is 14 years.
The languages of communication will be German and English. Therefore you should already have sufficient language skills in one of the two languages.
