Fatih Akin´s film “Im Juli”, Sprachcafé and more

We are thrilled to present you the program for the next week!

Finally, we are getting closer to our aim to bring up new life to the “Ulme 35”. But keep in mind: We are always happy about new ideas and proposals (e.g. schedule of the program, artists we could invite).
Wednesday, April 26 we will be starting the “Sprachcafé”. You are welcome to join every Wednesday from 6.30pm till 8.30pm. You can have a chat with neighbors and other people, whose German is their mother tongue. And please feel free to bring your own questions and ideas. In our salon, we offer lemonade, tea, wine and coffee.Here is the facebook link to the event.
Moreover, on Wednesdays there is a counselling for refugees aged 16-27. The project jmd2start – counselling and company of the AWO Berlin- is visiting the “Ulme 36”every Wednesday from 1pm-5pm and supports refugees if questions about school, education, healthcare, habitation or judicial concerns arise. You find further information about the project here:

On Friday 28th from 3 to 6 pm adults and children are invited to our arts workshop - modelling landscapes from here and there, thus forming a new world together.

Friday night is filmclub: at 7.00 pm we’ll open the cinema again. We are screening „Im Juli“ produced by Fatih Akin. The german-turkish roadmovie through southeastern Europe which is great fun with love, action and wonderful pictures.

A fortnight later, on May 12 we will show "Taxi Teheran" the documentary fiction of    the Iranian director Jafar Panahi. In 2015 he won the golden bear at the Berlinale.

On Saturday, the 13th, Third World will play again, whose music between Orient and Occident was already so enthusiastically received at the Feast of Possibilities in September.

Our "Salon" is now open on a regular basis on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3 pm to drink coffee, talk, play chess or simply to meet new people.
