In January 2018 first series of „ARTIST TALK – Artist’s Positions in Dialogue” began. Since then, we have met with 12 invited artists for 6 fascinating discussions and workshops. The Artist Talks took place every month in the Ulme35, where a guest artist who has spent much of his/her life in Germany encountered an artist who has recently come to Berlin. During the relaxed Friday evenings in the Salon of the Ulme35, the artists presented their work and talked about their native countries as well as their work environment. On each following Saturday, the guest artists and audience members participated in a workshop, where they encountered each other on the field of experimental art and dialogue.Together, they created an art piece without pre-prescribed formats or parameters – a collaborative painting, a performance, a manifesto, or a movie.
The results of these workshops as well as the work of individual artists will be presented as an art exhibit during the Summer Festival in the Ulme35 on June 22. At the show will be to see paintings, photos, graphic works, films, installation…
